Brenntag acquires Austro Corp, S.A. de C.V.
Brenntag continues its successful growth strategy in Mexico with the acquisition of the chemical distribution assets of Austro Corp, S.A. de C.V., headquartered in Mexico City.

Austro Corp was formed in 1980 and has gained profound expertise in serving primarily the food industry with semi commodity chemicals. In addition, the company provides products and services to the pharmaceutical and the PICA (Paintings, Inks, Coatings and Adhesives) industry as well as the oil & gas market. The acquisition of Austro Corp allows Brenntag Mexico entry into the Mexican food market.
