Brenntag At University
In 2008, Brenntag GmbH took part in the “Handel trifft Hochschule” – “Trade Meets University” – information exchange in Essen for the very first time.

At this interactive event, which was organized by the Chair for Trade & Marketing at Duisburg-Essen University and retail journal “Lebensmittel Praxis”, Sven Dietze and Simone Seifer from the HR department of Brenntag GmbH presented the company to 150 young graduates and informed them about the career opportunities that it offered. The presentation given by Sven Dietze, who is responsible for staff recruitment, focused in part on an 18-month trainee program for graduates that is offered once a year, as well as on START, a program designed to integrate new employees at Brenntag GmbH.
