DEERLIJK/DORDRECHT In May 2008, Brenntag went live with SAP in Belgium and the Netherlands. Previously operating with two separate ERP systems that had each been gradually developed in-house for some twenty years, the time was right in 2005 to initiate the transition to SAP in the Benelux. Thanks to the tremendous dedication and effort of all employees at Brenntag Benelux, the go-live was a complete success. More than 550 employees at 12 locations from four operational entities in three countries were involved in the project. Erwin Kerstens at Brenntag Benelux was responsible for the project and comments: “We can now focus on the ongoing integration and optimization of processes in the Benelux region.
