Onward And Upward – Management Development At Brenntag
In order to provide its managers with extensive support and real challenges, Brenntag GmbH has for years provided its employees with the opportunity for holistic self-development in the form of a group coaching session.

This program is carried out by the INPUT institute in Paderborn. A group of young managers successfully completed the program in 2008. “I had constant access to the Management Development Program (MDP) during my first year in a managerial position and it provided me with valuable support not only in my professional development, but above all in my personal development,” recalls Brenntag GmbH employee Christian Vogt. “I was very impressed by the expertise of the trainers and the friendly interaction between the participants.” These sentiments are echoed by Richard Roth from Food Specialities CEE: “The MDP helped to pinpoint our personal strengths and weaknesses and showed us how to bring out the best in them.” Another important point is that the MDP enables participants to network with colleagues from similar management levels and to have direct contact with Brenntag top management.
